Danny Abdia continues to show good ability in the season opener of Washington and we can only hope he continues like this from game to game.
Tonight (Saturday through Sunday) the Israeli scored 8 points in the Orlando Wizards' 92: 104 victory and once again showed the sparks that everyone knows exist in it.
"He influences the game so much at a young age and I try to tell him from my experience just to keep going, to work on the little things because in this league the opportunity will come, you just do not know when, that's what he does now," he said of the Israeli at the end of his teammate Kyle Cosma.
"He keeps, underrated rebounds, does a great job, plays the right way and creates for others. When he runs bursting he delivers the right delivery going forward and overall does a good job this season."
NBC reporter Chase Hughes also praised and tweeted: "The game against Orlando was a good sign for Abdia's development. 8 points, 6 rebounds, assists, steals and a block didn't look like much, but he did it in 18 "Minutes with 75% of the field and the best plus-minus index on the field. He is 20 years old and it is not easy for young players to be effective in limited positions off the bench."

Tonight's game was a good sign for Deni Avdija's development.
8 pts, 6 reb, ast, blk, stl may not seem like much, but it came in 18 min., He shot 3-4 FG, 2-3 3PT and was a team-high +22.
He's 20yo and it's not easy for young players to thrive / be efficient in limited bench roles.

Deni Avdija drew a difficult defensive assignment: guarding athletic wing and Magic sixth man Terrence Ross.
It's a sign of the Wizards' faith in Avdija's defense that he's been asked to guard two players as different as Ross and Giannis Antetokounmpo over the last week.
