Macron changed the blue of the French flag

The tricolor now consists of navy blue, white and red. A discreet change for a French symbol.

This is a detail that went unnoticed and has not been officially announced.

The French flag has changed color, reveals Europe 1. Everything is a matter of nuance.

The blue, white, red triptych is still displayed on official buildings, but it is now actually navy blue.

Information confirmed to the Parisian by the Elysée.

According to Europe 1, it is for the Head of State to reconnect with a symbol of the French Revolution, that of the French flag of 1793.

A decision that would have been taken by the President of the Republic in July 2020, also causing internal debates at the palace.

But in the maneuver, behind the scenes, it is the director of operations of the Elysee, Arnaud Jolens, who would be at the origin of this change of tone.

The latter had explained it to journalists Paul Larrouturou and Eliot Blondet in their book “Elysée confidential”.

In this investigation in the corridors of presidential power, personalities who have closely approached Emmanuel Macron, at different periods of his political career testify.
