Polytechnician, Olivier Rey is a researcher at the Institute of History and Philosophy of Science and Technology and teaches philosophy at Paris-I Panthéon-Sorbonne.

Author of many critically acclaimed essays, such as “When the world became a number” (Stock, coll. “Les Essais”, 2016) and “Lure and misfortune of transhumanism” (Desclée de Brouwer, 2018).

What can repairing water mean?

When we talk about repair, we first think of a damaged object that must be repaired: an item of clothing, a house, an appliance ... However, there are not only objects that the 'we repair, there is also damage.

What damage have we done to the water?

The first thing that comes to mind is the pollutants that are poured into it.

But there are also moral damages.

In ancient thought, water was one of the four basic elements that made up the world.
