November-winter in Germany: snowy weather down to the depths?
The US weather model NOAA gives great hope for snow in November.
On November 24th, a blanket of snow is in sight down to the deeper elevations - in middle elevations even up to 15 centimeters, reports graduate meteorologist Dominik Jung.
He also told wetter.net: "The whole story is somewhat reminiscent of November 2010. At that time, there was also a sharp drop in temperature with the first snow at the end of November and the cold stayed with us for most of December."
The NOAA forecast now also expects November 2021 to be significantly too cold. In some cases, it can be up to two degrees Celsius colder in Germany than the average climate.
"It will stay exciting," promises Jung.

The meteorologist anticipates an advance of ice-cold air from the north, which hits Germany around November 20.
