The hot and unstable weather will continue:
today (Sunday) there will be haze across the country, local rain has fallen and there may be occasional thunderstorms.
There are fears of floods in the south and east of the country.
Strong easterly winds will blow in the north of the country and in the mountains.
There will be a slight drop in temperatures, especially on the coast and in the lowlands, but they are still above average for the period.
The heat load will be light in the coastal plain, in the lowlands, in the northern Negev and in the northern valleys, light to moderate in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the Arava.
Monday will be partly cloudy to clear, fog may still prevail and easterly winds will weaken.
In the mountains and inland there will be a slight rise in temperatures and in the coastal plain there will be a slight drop in temperatures.
It will still be warmer than usual for the period.
Meteo Tech reports that on Tuesday it will be partly cloudy to clear with no significant change in temperatures, which are above average for the period.
No significant change is expected on Wednesday.
Thursday will be partly cloudy with high and medium clouds and still warmer than usual for the period.
