Methods for cleaning a cutting board - plastic and wood (3305732 @ creative_explained)
It's usually awfully simple to remove food stains from plates and pots, but when it comes to our cutting board - the stains seem to be there to stay.
No matter how much you scrub them with soap and water, the stains will not come off you.
In fact, a study found that on the proposed cutting board, 200 percent more fecal bacteria grow than - believe it or not - the toilet seat.
But do not worry, tiktok user Armen Adamjan, who tends to share his followers with cleaning tips, claims to have found a method to remove hard stains from the cutting board.
When it comes to a cutting board made of plastic, Armen suggests using three components.
He picks up the cutting board in his hand and says in the video: "If your cutting board looks like this and no matter what you do, the stains just do not go down, that's what you need to do."
Immediately afterwards he starts sprinkling a little baking soda on the stain and pouring a little hydrogen peroxide over.
If you do not have hydrogen peroxide, you can use vinegar instead.
Do not panic if the resulting solution bubbles slightly.
Finally he adds a little sea salt to the solution and uses half a lemon to scrub the three ingredients on the board.
The acidity, as well as the chemical reaction and rough texture of the salt, dissolved the stains immediately.
He then rinses the chopping board with water and shows surprising results.

And what about a wooden board?
If you have a wooden chopping board, the method is quite similar - and even shorter because you do not need to use baking soda and hydrogen peroxide.
For a wooden chopping board all it takes is salt and lemon.
First, sprinkle sea salt on the board.
Then take a lemon cut in half and rub the salt on the stained side of the board with the fleshy side of the lemon facing down.
Soak the batter in the salt and lemon solution for about five minutes and finally rinse and dry it.
It is recommended to perform this thorough cleaning once a month, even if the cutting board does not look stained.

"Boom! This is my lesson for today," one reporter and another added, "I used some of your ideas. You are amazing."
Another wrote: "I needed it! Thank you very much" and another added: "Are you available?".
In any case, cleaning experts recommend that if your cutting board is cracked and scratched, it is very worthwhile to replace it with a new one, because bacteria are very fond of living inside these cracks.
