The Turkish regime arrested three people on the pretext of their association with the dissident residing in the United States, Fethullah Gulen, whom the head of the regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, accuses of being behind the attempted coup in the country in 2016.

The Anatolia News Agency quoted the Turkish regime's Defense Ministry as saying in a statement that security forces arrested three people while they were trying to flee to Greece through Turkey's northwestern border.

It is noteworthy that the Erdogan regime has launched severe repression campaigns since the coup attempt with the aim of pursuing its opponents and opponents inside the country, as it arrested and dismissed hundreds of thousands of people, both civilians and military.
