A lot of snow can be expected in November, especially in Bavaria - but now it will be foggy for the time being.

The winter and cold snap * should arrive in the Free State around November 20th.
Then proper snowfalls are expected all over Bavaria.
According to weather experts, there should be 20 centimeters of fresh snow in the Alps and some snowflakes will also fall from the sky in the state capital.
Weather in Bavaria: The coming days will be foggy
On Saturday (November 13th) Bavaria was crossed by a weak cold front, after which, according to the
German Weather Service (DWD),
the high over Central Europe stabilized again. However, since the air close to the ground remains humid, fog forms above all in northern Bavaria. Caution: the visibility can be less than 150 meters! According to the meteorologists, there is even fresh snow above 1300 to 1500 meters. At night there are from seven to two degrees.
On Sunday (November 14th) there are temperatures of five to eleven degrees with a weak northeasterly wind, otherwise it remains dry.
In the next few days, the fog persisted, especially in the evening and morning hours, until Wednesday it spreads over all of Bavaria.
On Sunday and Monday the
DWD
warns of
stormy gusts in the peaks of the Black Forest, the Alps and the Bavarian Forest.
Weather forecast: onset of winter possibly at the end of next week
The US weather model NOAA also confirms a significant cold snap in the next ten days.
Snowfall should even be possible at low altitudes.
The next week will show when the Free State will also be blessed with snow.
The winter fans are happy - everyone else has to enjoy the next quiet days and can get the snow shovel out of the cellar.
