Since the start of the pandemic, there has been a great temptation to cling to miracle solutions to end the crisis.
There was the idea, fortunately of short duration in Great Britain, to let the virus run to achieve collective immunity;
France ignited for months on hydroxychloroquine, which one knows today perfectly ineffective;
in 2021, Americans lost their lives while taking ivermectin, in doses reserved for veterinary treatments to deworm cows or horses ... At the end of 2020, it was however not absurd to think that the arrival of very effective vaccines would allow us to end this virus, to live normally again, without constraints.
This was without counting the emergence of the Delta variant, twice as contagious and much more dangerous than all the previous strains.
