Abdullahian: We are ready to reach a good agreement

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian reiterated that his country is ready to reach a good agreement with Western countries, provided that the negotiating parties fully return to their obligations under the 2015 nuclear agreement.

"The new Iranian government is pragmatic and wants to achieve results, and we have exchanged views with the negotiating parties and are ready to reach a good agreement, and this requires the negotiating parties to fully return to their commitments," Fars news agency quoted Abdullahian as saying during a telephone conversation with his Italian counterpart, Luigi Dimaggio.

Abdullahian added that all parties have reached a common realization that the United States is the main negligent and responsible for the current situation, while some parties act irresponsibly by remaining silent in the face of America's ambitions, which played a role in crystallizing the unacceptable situation.

Abdullahian expressed his country's readiness to develop its cooperation with friendly countries, including Italy, in an atmosphere of mutual respect in various fields.
