The commercial jet,
carrying five passengers
, was arriving at Welke Airport, off Michigan's northern peninsula, when it crashed, according to the Charlevoix County Sheriff's Office.
The Coast Guard said on Twitter that two passengers survived, but authorities later reported that
four people, including the girl's father, were killed.

As she was being transported, medical personnel began giving her chest compressions, the Coast Guard tweeted.
