Multiple injuries are reported this Monday after a shooting that occurred at 12:45 pm in a park near a school in Aurora, Colorado, for which at least six teenagers are receiving medical attention, as confirmed by Vanessa Wilson, head of the Police Department of Aurora, in a press conference.
Five of the victims, between 14 and 17 years old, have been transferred to various local hospitals
.
Three are being treated at Children's Hospital and two at UCHealth.
One of them is in an emergency room.
They are all students at Central High School.
The sixth teenager is 18 years old and drove himself to the hospital with minor injuries, as confirmed by Wilson.
The others were taken by ambulance.
The shooting occurred in a park near a school in Aurora, captured via WFLA.
All the families of the victims have been notified, the school facilities are closed, and the authorities have erected a security perimeter around them.
The six teenagers, he stressed, were gathered in Nome Park, a short distance to the north of the school, and not inside it.

," Wilson said.
Neighbors called to report "multiple suspects,"
but the identity of none is yet known.
Likewise, according to the head of the police department, several vehicles were identified as suspects, but no identification signs have been given for any of them.
