An earthquake was felt this morning in Caen and its surroundings.
According to initial data from the National Seismic Surveillance Network (RéNaSS), it is a magnitude 2.5 earthquake that struck 5 km deep at the epicenter at exactly 6:03 a.m.

, has already experienced several similar events in the past.
The last quake felt in this area dates from March 2020 with a magnitude 2.7 earthquake.
