The police alleged that after preliminary investigations, the 31-year-old surnamed man was a mainlander who was suspected of assaulting police, burglary, possessing firearms without a license and entering the country illegally. The case was handed over to the Eighth Team of the Criminal Investigation Team of the Tai Po Police District for follow-up.
The man in the class suffered injuries to his ears and feet and was sent to North District Hospital for treatment along with two male police officers.
