Türkheim - ESV Türkheim has again celebrated a shooting festival in the district league: The 12: 1 in Kempten was followed by the boys from coach Michael Fischer on Saturday with a 15: 1 in Senden.
In none of the three thirds the "Crocodiles" could seriously stand up to the opponent from the Wertach Valley.
Goalkeeper Max Bley made his debut in the full squad of coach Fischer, in which all players had to undergo a quick test before the start of the game due to the high corona numbers. He shouldn't be in the spotlight too often that evening, because the ESV squad hit the gas right from the start: It didn't take long before the first goal was scored. Moritz Hanslbauer scored the 1-0 for the Unterallgäu after a wonderful cross pass from Andreas Pross. The yellow and blue went fast and put the "Crocodiles" under pressure. Somewhat surprisingly, however, the home side came to equalize through Canadian Aaron Evalschuk - which was only a minor blemish, because from then on only Türkheim scored: Benjamin Biddle (8th) outnumbered another opening goal,Maxi Döring increased to 3: 1 two minutes later. The EC Senden was only rarely able to break free and so the game seemed already decided in the first third. Bastian Hitzelberger then failed on the post before Biddle in the power play (14th) and Lucas and Moritz Lerchner in a brothers combination bagged the 5-1 third break.
In the middle third, the Crocodiles changed the goalkeeper, but the lively target shooting (62:23 shots on goal at the end of the game) didn't stop: Jonas Müller (2), Felix Ambos and Fabian Guggemos scored 9: 1 after 40 minutes. And in the final third, the yellow-blue players showed no mercy and remained decisive in the game: Thanks to Guggemos in one-on-one as well as three Türkheimer hits in the majority (goal scorers Florian Zacher, Jonas Müller and Samuel Wexel), ESVT pulled away to 13: 1. Ultimately, Niklas Kohler and Captain Sascha Volger made sure that a 1:15 mark was lit on the display board in Sendener Illerau at 10.30 p.m.
ESVT is preparing for the upcoming top game of the first two on Friday, November 19th with self-confidence.
In Sonthofen you will then meet ERC Sonthofen 1999, who is also still undefeated. “With the preparation we have worked out a small winning streak and we do not want to let it break.
We have to take the flow from this with us and access it week after week, as is the case with the ERC, ”says coach Michael Fischer with a view to the showdown on Friday.
