Palestinian farmers were attacked today (Monday) by settlers in the village of Burka, located north of Nablus, where the Chumash settlement, which had been evacuated as part of the disengagement plan, was located in the past.
In the published documentation, the farmers are seen advancing towards their plots, then a vehicle blocks their way and at the same time some settlers attack them with stones, sticks and fists.
The Yesh Din organization reported that 3 Palestinians were injured and evacuated to Rafidia Hospital in Nablus.
The organization claims that the farmers called the police and security forces but the police and military force arrived at the scene after a long time.
The researcher of the organization that accompanied the farmers said that he was attacked himself.
"We felt we were in great danger and we had a feeling we would not get out of it alive. A group of people chased after us and I heard one of them firing in the air, it causes fear in the body."

The Chumash settlement, which was established on Palestinian land from the nearby village of Burka, was evacuated as part of the disengagement plan in 2005 and the entry of Israelis was banned.
But only in 2013, after a petition by the villagers, did the state announce that it would allow Palestinian owners access to their land.
In practice, however, there is an increasing presence of settlers arriving in the area, including students from the "renewed Chumash" yeshiva, which deters Palestinian landowners.
The IDF spokesman said in response that "IDF forces were launched earlier today in the 'Chumash' area in the 'Shomron' regional brigade area, following a report of a violent confrontation between settlers and Palestinians that included mutual stone-throwing and air firing by the settlers. "The IDF is now in the area."
