Nuremberg - On Saturday morning (November 13th) there was a fire in an apartment in the Langwasser district of Nuremberg, as the Police Headquarters Middle Franconia * wrote in a report.
At around 10.15 a.m., the police were informed of a fire in a ground floor apartment in an apartment building on Imbuschstrasse.
When the alerted fire brigades arrived, there was already a lot of smoke.
The emergency services were able to quickly extinguish the flames in the kitchen and thereby prevent the fire from spreading to the building.

The other apartments in the eight-story building were evacuated as a precaution.
About 20 people were affected.
Shortly after the fire was extinguished, however, they were able to re-enter their apartments.
The apartment on fire is no longer habitable until further notice.
The amount of property damage is not yet known.
People were not injured.
The Nuremberg * criminal police are now investigating the cause of the fire.
