How did Antoine Seguin die?
The family of this 35-year-old man, informed on November 9 of the terrible discovery of his body hanged in the Plaisir forest (Yvelines), is still waiting to know the truth.
The victim, president of the judo club of Suresnes (Hauts-de-Seine), who disappeared on October 30, was identified thanks to his fingerprints.
But the mystery of his death is complete.
An investigation for fatal blows has been opened, the Versailles prosecutor's office said on Monday.
First opened for worrying disappearance, the investigation is now being carried out by the criminal brigade, for "willful violence resulting in death without intention of giving it", specifies the prosecution.
Because the autopsy revealed that Antoine Seguin had suffered violence.
"The first elements of the autopsy suggest an external intervention", specified a judicial source, bruises and traces of strangulation having been found on the corpse.
According to the same source, hanging is not the cause of death.
Sex game going wrong?
It could be "a sex game that goes wrong", blows a source close to the file to AFP, even if "all avenues are studied".
According to the prosecution, no arrest has taken place in this case for the moment.
The day before, Friday October 29, Antoine Seguin would have joined the north of the capital for a private party, to which he wanted to go with friends.
His participation in this party has not been confirmed.
During the night, friends sent him WhatsApp messages which were consulted, assures a relative.
But since then, nothing.
We do not yet know how he ended up in the Plaisir forest (Yvelines).
But it was there that his body was discovered by a jogger on October 30, hanging from a tree.
In his pocket, Antoine Seguin always had his car keys while it was parked at his home, in Suresnes.
The study of his cell phone, which he did not have with him, allowed the police to discover a message announcing their intention to end existence.
Message that was not sent to anyone.
The thesis of suicide is nevertheless ruled out but it is possible that the judoka's aggressor (s) have tried to make believe in his will to die.
