Lords of the Region: Between Narcos and Hezbollah Israel today

2021-11-15T19:50:50.069Z

South America, along with organized crime and widespread corruption, has become a hotbed of local and international terrorist organizations.

The problem of terrorism in South America suffers from poor public relations.

The reason: the Western press finds interest in the elementary barbarism of the Middle East, rather than in the expected and familiar routine of corruption and crime.

However, the southern part of the continent was and still is an important center of activity for terrorist organizations - a place where several factors come together and create a perfect area for cultivating terrorist activity: corrupt governments at levels in Israel can not even begin to describe (see the new season of "Narcos" on Netflix, to get Little concept), hacked borders, basic security forces and anti-Western ideology.

It's not just guerrilla groups that have flourished there for decades and are collaborating with international terrorist elements.

Only about a month ago, "Israel Today" revealed how in the socialist Venezuela of Nicholas Maduro, the Shiite Hezbollah lives and kicks under the auspices of the state.

Colombia is well aware of this: after all, it is its eastern neighbor, and has been suffering from conflicts along the border since Chavism came to power in 1999.

In the revolutionary process led by "El Commandante", Hugo Chavez, Bogota was marked relatively early as an imperialist target, and in Caracas gave refuge to the FARC ("Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia") terrorist organization.

The goal is clear: to undermine the stability of those who are perceived as servants of the "great devil", the United States, but also the little devil, Israel, enters the picture here in the South American socialist narrative, which essentially - three powers rule the world and pull the strings of "outcast" destinies: USA "B, Britain and the Jews.

In addition, the southern region of America has suffered for years from a lack of resources to prevent terrorism - an important factor in the fact that in the 1990s Western security forces, and Israelis in particular, failed to stop the long arm of Iran and Hezbollah.

In 1992, a car bomb exploded at the entrance to the Israeli embassy in Buenos Aires and wiped it off the face of the earth;

And two years later, a few meters away, a suicide driver galloped into the Amia Jewish community building.

The two attacks killed 114 civilians and injured hundreds more.

Although the identification of the problem became known over time, governments remained largely the same, except for a number of exceptional local allies.

Pressure from the United States can help but not resolve the issue, as this is exactly where the problem lies: large parts of the continent disregard the White House's intervention in the area, given a known history of tyrannical support and abortions by governments.

Change must begin from within, for there is no dictatorship that survives long without the support of the people.

Israel must act carefully and wisely, because whoever is a strategic ally today may soon become an enemy.

This is the nature of the area.
