The way to appoint Rabinovich was not easy, although her name was among the candidates to replace Doria Lempel, who announced her departure as early as June.
Michal Rabinovich has been appointed the main presenter of the evening news here, the Public Broadcasting Corporation announced today (Monday). Rabinovich Batsch, a journalist and senior presenter in the news division, has so far presented the Shabbat news edition and once a week the evening news for about four and a half years. Prior to that, the Broadcasting Authority submitted the Shabbat News edition for about 6 years and was the main presenter of "Mabat" in the last year for the closure of the authority.
The road to Rabinovich's appointment was not easy, although her name was among the candidates to replace Doria Lempel, who announced her departure as early as June. This is after the corporation initially preferred the former News Ten presenter Tali Moreno - with whom a negotiation procedure that ultimately failed due to an argument over the number of submission days per week. It was later decided by the corporation to officially offer Rumi Neumark the position, and she even held the first interview with Prime Minister Bennett on behalf of the corporation - but as reported in Walla! Brenze, too, refused the position.Now it has finally been decided to stay with Rabinovich.
