The number of new corona infections among schoolchildren under 15 years of age in Brandenburg has almost doubled within a week and is above the 1000 mark.
The seven-day incidence, the value of new corona cases per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days, rose among 10 to 14-year-olds from 744 to 1,318 in the past week, as the Ministry of Health announced on Twitter on Monday.
Potsdam - Among the five to nine year olds, the value of new cases increased from 663 to 1133 over the same period.
No other age group has such high incidences; it is lowest among 70 to 74-year-olds at 104. dpa
