To celebrate the October holidays, a group of Homs poets revived a poetry festival organized by the Writers Union branch over two days, a celebration of patriotic poems that expressed the meanings of victory that the Syrians wrote on this occasion and their response to conspiracies and adversities.
The festival was inaugurated by the poet Omaima Ibrahim, head of the Homs Book Union branch, with patriotic and sentimental poems bearing the titles “Small Miniatures” and “O You Severe Spirit,” while the poet Hassan Ba’iti participated in sentimental poems in which the love of the homeland overflowed and came under the titles “Ask the River,” “Iraq” and “In Praise.” the death".
Dr. Ghassan Lafi Tohme recited two sentimental poems titled “An Attempt to Read the Text” and “Dialogue with the Most Beautiful Names,” while the poet Abdel Karim Abdel Karim participated in two patriotic poems titled “The Village Post” and “Omim Al-Water.” The participation of the poet Rima Al-Khidr with her poems “In the Presence of Death” And “From the War Archives” expresses the grandeur of the occasion.
The two poets, Abd al-Salam Sabra and Talib Hammach, had a distinguished participation in their sentimental poems full of love for the homeland.
The festival was attended by an audience of writers and interested people.
