At the start of the summer, the anti-pass protests in Italian cities were rather spontaneous.
Little by little, they were infiltrated by activists advocating armed struggle and coming from the most diverse backgrounds, from the neofascist far right to the anarchists.
Some processions in Milan even saw the presence of a former Red Brigades who had served thirty years in prison and still advocated armed struggle.
On Monday, the Italian police, under the direction of the Turin prosecutor's office specializing in the fight against terrorism, launched searches in NoPass circles in 16 cities in Italy.
Seventeen people were indicted.

A handful of activists only, therefore, but "

", affirmed Monday the police who already knew some of them for their extremist positions.
All were affiliated with the Basta dittatura channel of the Telegram messaging app, central to the organization of these anti-pass protests.
