Following the mass brawl incident last night (Sunday) between two Rahat families at Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva, a new video was released today revealing another angle to the tragic incident in which four people were injured.

The video shows the rioters throwing stones and at the end a person sprays gas spraying into the eyes of a person present at the scene.

As mentioned, four defendants were injured in the incident, three of whom were released and one was hospitalized in a surgical ward in fair condition.

The Israel Police has continued its investigation into the mass disturbance and at this stage 16 suspects are expected to be brought before the Magistrate's Court in Be'er Sheva for a hearing on their case, and further arrests are possible.

During the brawl, those involved were seen throwing stones with gunshots in the background.

Following the incident, the hospital management closed its gates to visitors but a short time later, after strenuous activity by many police forces to establish order in the place, the hospital reopened its gates.

The investigation of all the events continues.

"We call on the public to immediately report to Hotline 100 any threats of bullying or violence, and to assist in the determined fight against crime for the sake of public safety and its quality of life."

"The violent incident that reached the gates of the emergency room and endangered the patients and hospital staff, illustrates to us how serious the situation is," says Dr. Shlomi Kodesh, director of Soroka Medical Center. "Therefore, we demand that vigorous actions be taken to maintain peace on the island of the hospital and its staff."

PM: "Chronic problems, address them", Mayor of BS valid: "The state has lost control"

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett convened a team of ministers to combat crime and violence in Arab society, saying: A small army, the reservoir that has grown and swelled for many years needs to be emptied. I am happy to say that the Israel Police has started working with all its might. We are making a critical effort all over the country in the face of the weapons.

Now our task is not to take our foot off the gas, but to continue with all our might.

Another operation and another operation, continue to press until the task is completed. "

He added: "I would like to thank the Minister of Public Works, Amar Bar-Lev, the Commissioner of Police, Major General Kobi Shabtai, the Minister of Justice, Gideon Saar, the other ministers who are partners, the Deputy Minister, Yoav Saglovitch, and all the staff members. We are all We are working together to overcome the significant threat to the security of Israeli citizens. "

On the other hand, the mayor of Be'er Sheva attacked the government: "Yesterday a very serious incident occurred. What happened yesterday is a loss of control of the State of Israel. The leaders of the state should have been here and spoken with a clear message. "I do not dodge, I do not run away, I do not hide, I do not have all the answers, and yet I am here. I am here because someone else should have been here in the last few months, and he did not come."

He added that "root treatment is needed. Not that I have to say but the prime minister and the Minister of Internal Security. This is not what it used to be, unconventional tools need to be found. People should not be afraid to walk around the city, the government should pursue criminals there. "Wake up! Stand up to the public. We need to start acting resolutely. There are no magic solutions, the public is losing faith. Our demand is to start acting and dismantling the militias and weapons, to restore order."
