The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Daraa governorate organized today 10 catering seizures against a number of violating commercial activities in the governorate, in addition to closing a gas station on the Daraa-Damascus highway for a week in implementation of a previous catering control.
The Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Dr. Ahmed Al-Awad, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the seizures affected various commercial activities, including clothing, food and household items stores in the villages and towns of Mothbeen, Deir Al-Bakht, Kafr Shams, Nawa and Izra’, with violations of showing irregular purchase invoices and not announcing prices.
Al-Awad pointed out that samples of olive pomace were also taken from olive presses in the towns and villages of Al-Hara, Nimr and Buidan to show their compliance with the Syrian standard specifications. Calibration and sale at the regular price.
