Al-Khair markets activities were opened today in the center of Al-Hasakah city, with the participation of a number of economic and commercial activities in order to secure the winter needs and requirements of citizens at competitive prices.
In a statement to SANA’s reporter, the member of the executive office supervising the activities of Al-Khair Markets, Engineer Ahmed Sheikhmous, said that the activities of Al-Khair markets continue for a whole week, during which he presents all the requirements and needs for the winter season, such as heaters and their accessories, fabrics, winter clothes, all consumer goods and detergents, with the participation of economic and commercial activities and the branch of the Syrian Foundation For trade at competitive prices lower than the popular prices, pointing out that the opportunity is available to all events to display their materials and products at competitive prices.
Sheikhmous added that a number of doctors and pharmacists were contacted to participate in the good markets by reducing the prices of medical examinations in private clinics and selling medicines at cost prices over a week starting today, in addition to providing educational strengthening courses for all levels in coordination with the Teachers Union and the Revolutionary Youth Union branch.
In turn, the head of Al-Hasakah City Council, Eng. Adnan Khajo, referred to the voluntary and charitable activities that will accompany the activities of Al-Khair markets, in coordination with NGOs and supporting bodies.
Khajo indicated that the voluntary campaigns will focus on cleanliness and the environment through civil and popular hygiene campaigns, a forestation campaign for all fairgrounds, and a number of parks in the city center to promote and spread the culture of hygiene and raise awareness of everyone's responsibility to preserve the environment and public cleanliness.
For his part, the director of the Syrian branch of trade, Omar Hamy, confirmed that all the exhibits within the good markets are less than market prices by 10 to 20 percent, and for winter clothes and shoes, the difference from the market may reach 50 percent, stressing that all consumables, detergents and heaters are offered at good prices, calling on the people To visit the market and see prices directly and supply all the necessary supplies.
