Carnival was officially welcomed across Germany on November 11th!
The Unterschleißheim carnival club Weiß-Blau was there.
Due to the corona, the
proclamation of
the new
prince couples of the city of Unterschleißheim was moved
from the
multi-purpose hall in the house of the clubs
to the town hall square.
Rebekka I and Ludwig I are the
name of the
child prince couple, Angela I and Sebastian II the prince couple of the Unterschleißheim-Lohhofer carnival club Weiß-Blau
. Child President Cornelia Tikovsky and President Sebastian Schweissgut started after an 18-month break together with the guard, the show dance groups, the Corona mascot "Asiotus" and a loud "UFC - Olé" on the town hall square in the carnival season 2021/2022. "It is so great to celebrate again with all friends on a public stage after more than 18 months without a public event", welcomed Schweissgut. Although one was not inactive even in the forced quiet time, celebrated among other things the "largest virtual women's carnival party with over 2400 participants".
But now everyone is happy that one can hopefully celebrate a “normal session with the official proclamation on January 15th”, said Schweissgut. For 33 years, the UFC, with its 247 members today, has provided the official prince couples of the city of Unterschleißheim. For the children, this is Rebekka Karban (9) and Ludwig Pettinger (12), who has held the office for the second time since 2017. Karban attends the third grade of the elementary school on Ganghoferstrasse in Unterschleißheim. She came to Mardi Gras a few years ago through her former ballet trainer, and she also likes to paint and ride. Prince Ludwig Pettinger owes his comeback on the scepter to the corona situation. He is 12 years old and is in seventh grade at the Edith Stein School in Unterschleißheim. In his spare time he likes to ride bulldogs, skis and BMX. He doesn't believethat the season will be very different from his last princess season, except that "the princess is a little small".

The couple Angela (42) and Sebastian Gernert (40) met while dancing in the discotheque in 2000, and they have been married for 16 years. She works for Deutsche Post, he works for Microsoft. They have two children together, who also brought them to the club. Kimberly, the younger daughter, also dances at the UFC in the Guard and was already a child princess in the 2018/19 season. This time should have at least prepared the two for what is about to happen. Angela and Sebastian are already looking forward to their season as a prince couple, albeit a little more cautiously under the current Corona situation. Unterschleißheim's mayor Christoph Böck (SPD) said that he and the city are really looking forward to the carnival. "We will support you wherever we can and hopeas much as possible can take place. "
