A young Jew was spotted last Wednesday at the entrance of the Armenian Church in Jerusalem by security cameras as he approached its entrance and spit.

In the documentation obtained by Walla !, the young York is seen spotting the cameras, looking at them and signaling to the camera that he is spitting again, repeating the action several times, and in between picking up a triple finger.

"We are shocked to see that one Israeli stood in front of the main entrance of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem and spat while looking at the camera and then spitting again demonstratively and deliberately," the Armenian Church said in response to the documentation.

"This is humiliation, disrespectful and intolerant behavior towards religion and its symbols. We call on the police to open an investigation and take action to prevent such acts in the future."

It has been a while since the Armenian Church has experienced a series of harassments against the place and its people.

Out of desperation, these refrain from approaching and complaining at the police station located near the church in the Old City.

During the month of May this year, two priests were attacked while marching near the church by a group of young Jews while telling them, among other things: "How unfortunate that the Azeris did not murder all the Armenians."

Tag Meir, which fights hate crimes, said: "We strongly condemn the continued harassment of the Armenian Church, which is 200 meters from the Kishla police station in the Old City of Jerusalem. Last May, two Armenian priests were attacked by five ultra-Orthodox Jews. The incident was filmed and handed over to the police. Israel. How long will the security forces continue to allow space and degrade the Armenian Church in Jerusalem? "
