The Bayerische Regiobahn (BRB) is not very enthusiastic about this.
"Implementation would be extremely difficult for us," says company spokeswoman Annette Luckner on request.
BRB spokeswoman: "Then we would need someone at every train door to check it."
In order to effectively ensure that only those who have been vaccinated, who have recovered and who have been tested get on the trains, "we need a person at every door to check it," says Luckner.
"That is not affordable in terms of personnel." Access control in front of the platform is also "impossible" at the open stations in the Oberland.
The BRB spokeswoman is also critical of the suggestion made by politicians that the 3G status of passengers should be checked on a random basis as part of the ticket inspection.
"Once someone who has not been vaccinated has boarded the train, it is actually too late for that," says Annette Luckner.

Luckner sees infection protection in the BRB guaranteed even without a 3G regulation.
Among other things, this is ensured by a complete exchange of air in the trains through the ventilation system every six minutes.
“In addition, we still don't have the passenger numbers we had before the pandemic, so you can always keep a lot of distance outside of peak times.
