It's an amusing play - and a welcome change in the Corona period: the country youth Schlipps delighted around 200 guests with their play on the weekend.

- Especially in difficult times, culture has the task of making people happy and helping them with their temporary escape from everyday (Corona) everyday life. That is why the Landjugend-Theater in Schlipps decided to play. On the first performance weekend, around 200 guests were given a lot of joy with two performances. Next weekend, the active players will be on stage twice more.

With the piece “Diplom-Bauernhof”, the rural youth has chosen a classic farmer's swing. In Ralf Kaspari's three-act play, the farmer Anton Stadler (Georg Wildgruber) tries to show his son Peter (Thomas Geier) that he is moving with the times. The work is to be switched to the production of bio-fuels and the beautiful engineer Silke (Stefanie Geier) helps the farmer. This female visit in the absence of the farmer's wife (Melanie Lachner) in turn does not remain hidden from the neighbor (Alexandra Goder). This then draws a series of conclusions. And son Peter also has a Gspusi from a large farm in Giggenhausen (Franziska Pflügler). The grandfather of the farm (Josef Rattenhuber) and the neighbor (Maximilian Lachner) are also involved in the hustle and bustle. This leads to a series of confusions,Suspicions and situation comedy, which guarantees the audience the highest level of entertainment.

But that is exactly what represents an extreme challenge for the young actors of the rural youth. The play has little or no plot and takes place a lot in conversations at the table in the farmhouse parlor.

The facial expressions and the details in the expression are particularly important here.

"I'm very proud of the way you did it," says director Alfred Kopp.

"If the audience pays admission, then they have the right that we all do our best."

Because of the again difficult Corona situation, the rural youth also considered calling off everything in the final phase of the preparations, but they wanted to make people happy and then put some effort into the safety and health of everyone.

In front of the Bail guest house, young women from the countryside sat for hours in an unheated tent in order to precisely control access after the switch to 2G.

The rural youth got some cards back, but had no problems with them.

After all, in addition to the 2G regulation, they wanted to loosen up the seating.

Good to know
