The still unknown mobile
The bloody body of the victim was discovered on November 11 by his son, worried that he would not hear from his mother.
The autopsy revealed that she had died three days earlier, and showed stab wounds, possibly from stabbing, and trauma.
The prosecutor did not give any information on the motive of the murder, stressing that the gendarmes of the research section (SR) of Montpellier were in charge of the investigation and that a judicial investigation had just been opened.
The hearings, in particular of the relatives of the victim, made it possible to orient the investigation towards the couple.
