The Armenian Defense Ministry announced this evening that the Russian mediation has succeeded in reaching a ceasefire in the eastern part of the country's border with Azerbaijan.
A statement issued by the Armenian Ministry stated that, "Based on an agreement brokered by Russia, a ceasefire was established in the eastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border as of 6:30 local time, stressing that the situation has returned to relative stability."
