Biram Kiel announced tonight (Tuesday) his retirement from the Israeli national team.
The 33-year-old Bnei Sakhnin midfielder, who appeared 47 times in the blue-and-white uniform and scored two goals, posted a message on Instagram where he wrote: "Thank you, it was a pleasure. Good luck to the team."
The Bnei Sakhnin midfielder, who was a partner in the home draw against Scotland in March 2021 (1: 1), announced his retirement after 13 years after receiving his debut call-up to the senior team by Dror Kashtan, during the Euro 2008 qualifiers.
Kiel made his debut on September 6, 2008, in the first game of the 2010 World Cup qualifier campaign against the Swiss national team.
