Right-wing activist Yoav Frank filed the complaint alleging that the Minister of Transportation tried to fire two of the ministry's senior officials on political grounds.

Complaints have been filed with the police and the ombudsman against the Minister of Transportation, Merav Michaeli, and against the director of her office, Michal Frank, alleging discrimination in the workplace.

The complaints were filed by right-wing activist Yoav Frank, alleging that they tried to fire two senior members of the ministry on political grounds.

Michaeli and Frank demand that the head of the Public Transportation Administration, Yaakov Netanyahu, and the head of the ministry's infrastructure department, Sheila Adler, leave their positions.

The two have a political background in the Likud and work together with Benjamin Netanyahu.

Right-wing activist Frank was outraged by Michaeli's remarks to "Israel Today," according to which she would prefer to accept women for the various positions in the Ministry of Transportation.

The Minister and the CEO work to fill positions vacated by women only, and in cases where no women are found, the positions remain vacant.

These acts constitute a violation of a number of legal provisions. "He further claims that Michaeli and CEO Frank are violating the Equal Employment Opportunity Law.

He also accuses the two of abusing the power of office.

The Ministry of Justice said that the request had been received.

The office of the Minister of Transportation stated: "Our transportation is in a state of emergency, and in order to get out of the state of emergency we need the best men and women of the profession. I deal with this and nothing else."
