At 8:10 in the evening today (16th), a 66-year-old man named Chen driving a red minibus on the Kwun Tong to Castle Peak Road line left Yu Man Square Terminus and drove to Ngau Tau Kok Road opposite Yulian Terrace. During the pick-up and drop-off, he suddenly lost consciousness and fainted in the driver's seat. The passengers in the carriage found that they called the police on their behalf.
The police and ambulancemen arrived at the scene and rushed the victim to the United Hospital for emergency treatment, but they reported that there was no surgery.

It is known that the male driver who was involved in the accident was suffering from a physical illness recently and has been on duty for two consecutive shifts today. The shift departs from the terminus Yuminfang.
The police stated that the cause of death has yet to be determined after an autopsy.
Zhang Hanhua, chairman of the Hong Kong Public Light Bus Owners and Drivers Association, which runs the minibus line, said that the driver involved in the accident is a self-employed driver. It takes two years to start the job and drive the line. The association will contact family members and provide condolences.
