After the introduction of the 2G rule, the Berlin Senate is considering further steps to contain the corona pandemic. Preparations are being made for next week to implement the option of 2G plus beyond 2G, said Governing Mayor Michael Müller (SPD) on Tuesday after the Senate meeting. While 2G only admitted vaccinated and convalescent people, 2G plus could mean, for example, that distances would also have to be observed, masks had to be worn or negative tests had to be submitted.
Berlin - "We are now preparing in the Senate so that we have an additional instrument for the winter months to react to the situation," said Müller.
Institutions and their visitors should receive additional security.
The exact form is still open.
