Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy has been charged by Cheshire Police with two additional counts of rape, Crown Prosecution announced on Tuesday.
Mendy had been charged in August with four counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.
CNN has reached out to Mendy's representatives, but has not received a response so far.
Manchester City suspended the player on August 26, after the first charges against him became known.
