The Food and Health Bureau announced a mandatory test announcement late at night on Tuesday (17th). There were outbreaks of upper respiratory tract infection and/or influenza-like illness in five schools, which were included in the mandatory test announcement due to symptoms similar to the new coronary pneumonia.
The schools involved included Caritas Sha Tin Nursery School, Caritas Kennedy Town Nursery School, Yuen Long Anglican Church St. Joseph's Kindergarten, etc.
The compulsory testing announcement stated that a total of 5 schools had outbreaks of upper respiratory tract infection and/or influenza-like illness. For the sake of caution, the relevant schools or their specified levels have been included in the mandatory testing announcements, including Caritas Sha Tin Nursery School, Caritas Kennedy Neidi Town Nursery School, Wan Chai Tang Shiu Kin Hospital Community Day Medical Center, Hong Kong Christian Service, Morrison Hill Child Development Center, Yuen Long Anglican Church St. Joseph’s Kindergarten.
Anyone who has been in the above place for more than two hours between November 3 and November 16 (including but not limited to full-time, part-time and substitute employees, students and visitors) must be tested on or before the 18th of this month .
If the person under inspection chooses to use the sample bottle distributed by the Center for Health Protection for testing, he must return the test sample collection bottle that has been sampled on or before the 20th of this month.
