Liao Changcheng, chairman of the Council of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, sent a letter to all teachers and students today (16th), announcing that the school has established a selection committee to start the global recruitment of new principals as soon as possible. The committee is chaired by the committee, and a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Rong Yongqi is also one of the selection committee members.
Liao Changcheng stated that the committee will start the global appointment of new principals as soon as possible, and hopes that the next principal will be appointed in October 2022 or shortly thereafter.
