The meeting of the Director of the Fisheries Authority, Abdul Latif Ali, with the head of the Russian Fisheries Agency, Vasily Sokolov, focused on strengthening joint cooperation in marine fishing.
Director of Protection and Investment at the authority, Dr. Haitham Deeb, explained to SANA that the meeting discussed the terms of the memorandum of understanding signed between the Syrian and Russian sides and cooperation in the field of marine fishing and aquaculture with the aim of preparing for an expanded agreement in this field, noting that the Russian side offered assistance in the field of developing expertise and receiving students from Grant path.
In addition, Chairman of Aleppo Chamber of Commerce Muhammad Amer Hamwi and Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Krasnodar Tkachenko Alexander Yurevich discussed ways of developing and strengthening trade and economic relations, establishing joint projects, promoting products and services of companies, organizations and businessmen working in the two countries, exchanging offers and commercial and investment information between the two parties.
Hamwi explained in a statement to SANA that the importance of the meeting comes because it contributes to the expansion of economic cooperation between the two parties, especially the presence of a real desire for joint work. Yurevich said: We have a positive vision and we discussed issues related to infrastructure reconstruction and industrial and commercial cooperation with Syria in general and Aleppo in particular.
