The Israeli couple Oknin detained in Turkey today (Tuesday) appealed the court's decision to detain them until the trial opens in their case.

At the end of the meeting between Natalie Oknin and her lawyer Nir Jaslovitz, he said of her that she was a "real lioness."

Jaslowicz expects the decision to be given to them within 10-7 days.

Jaslowicz said Oknin was puzzled by the arrest.

"Do they know I'm a bus driver? Does it seem to them that a spy is participating in an Egged advertisement?" She said.

"She is the one who made it clear to me what I know very well, and I just feel an amazing feeling that I have fallen into the right to represent a woman whom I define as a lioness," Jaslowitz said of her.

"She told me 'Nir, what you're doing here is just a mission.'"

Jaslovic chose not to comment on Turkish Interior Minister Suleiman Soilo's statement regarding the affair.

"I, being a lawyer, refer to my legal work, and nothing more," he said.

Earlier today, the Turkish minister said that the two Israelis arrested in Istanbul "focused on Erdogan's residence and marked it" in their photographs.

This statement is the first official reference by a Turkish official to the couple's arrest.
