The then district councillor, Zhao Jiaxian, was outside Cityplaza the year before. The suspected bite of the left ear case was renewed in the High Court. The prosecution said in the court today (16th) that both the prosecution and the defense agreed to impose on Zhao and others on the same day. The attacker is Hao Chen Zhen in this case.
Before interrogating the male victim who had suffered a belly and stabbed back, the lawyer representing Chen apologized to the male victim and asked if the male victim could forgive the defendant. However, the judge Zhang Huiling stated that the question was not related to the trial and the victim did not need to answer.
The defense continued that the defendant originally wanted to leave that day, but was pulled by the male victim’s wife and accused the male victim of assaulting the defendant. The male victim responded that he had no impression of most of the plots.

The defendant Chen Zhen (50 years old) was charged with 3 counts of intentional wounding and 1 count of ordinary assault.
The charge is that he illegally and maliciously injured Wen Hao Lun, Leung Pik Ki and Zhao Jiaxian outside Cityplaza Center on November 3, 2019, and assaulted Liang Yingying on the same day and at the same place.
Among them, Wen Haolun and Liang Biqi are the couple, and Liang Yingying is Liang Biqi's cousin.
The male victim Wen Haolun continued to give evidence today.
The prosecution said in court today that both the prosecution and the defense agreed that the man in the gray shirt involved in the attack was the defendant in the case.

The defense asked if the defendant could forgive the defendant
At the beginning of the cross-examination, the barrister representing the defendant deeply apologized to Wen on behalf of the defendant and accused the defendant of hurting many people, including Wen.
The defense also asked Wen Xian whether he could forgive the defendant, but Judge Zhang Huiling pointed out that this matter has nothing to do with the trial of the case.
Wen therefore did not answer.
During cross-examination, Wen admitted that the details of the incident may be incorrect when he explained the incident, but he did not agree with the exaggeration of the defense's allegations.

When asked why he heard the defendant scream "Recover Taiwan", why Wen had a great reaction.
Wen Ting explained that he was relatively straightforward and thought that the phrase "recovering Taiwan" was not appropriate, so he said at the time, "What do you say X 嘢".
The defense stated that both the Wen's wife and the cousin of Wen's wife who were traveling with him had a negative reaction to the "recovery of Taiwan."
Wen pointed out that he didn't mean it at the time, but admitted that he heard someone call the defendant "Mainland Tsai", but he did not remember whether he was the wife or the wife's cousin.
He admitted that he had quarreled with the defendant, but it was only for a short period of time. There were only one or two sentences in it, but he did not remember the content.

The defense revealed the facts of the case, saying that the defendant left afterwards, but Wen's wife grabbed the defendant. Wen once hit the defendant on the back, and also rushed towards the defendant, raising his right hand and fisting to attack the other party.
The defendant pushed Wen with his left hand to the wall, and took a knife with his right hand to injure Wen.
Wen said that most of them don't remember or have no impression.
The case will be resumed tomorrow, and the prosecution said in the court that it would summon the other two victims, Liang Yingying and Zhao Jiaxian.
