Today, the Ministry of Education signed a cooperation agreement with the Russian Presidential School in the fields of education, student exchange and teaching frameworks.
The agreement, titled “Let’s Open Our Hearts for Good,” signed at the Martyr Basil Al-Assad School for Outstanding Students in Damascus, on the Syrian side, the Assistant Minister of Education, Dr. Mahmoud Bani Al-Marjah, and on the Russian side, Mikhail Bebove, the director of the Presidential School, provided for the support and assistance of outstanding students and cooperation in the field of curricula.
Dr. Bani Al-Marjeh confirmed after the signing that the agreement seeks to support the schools of outstanding students, the continuation of the educational process in them, and the development of their curricula.
A delegation from the Russian Ministry of Education and Universities also distributed aid to the students of the Outstanding School, including stationery, school bags, sports supplies, clothes, illustrations, and educational and literary textbooks in the Russian language.
The agreement and the aid distribution are part of the joint Syrian-Russian meeting program to follow up on the work of the international conference on the return of refugees.
