An earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter scale hit the northwestern Turkish province of Düzce today.
The Anatolia News Agency, the Turkish regime's spokeswoman, quoted the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority as saying in a statement that the epicenter of the quake was located at a depth of 18.02 km below the surface of the earth.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or losses due to the earthquake.
