She had to stay in South Africa for a long time.
What was originally planned as a visit turned into a month-long stay due to health problems.
Charlène von Monaco had to be operated twice because of an ENT infection.
A return by plane was initially not possible.
This was partly due to the pressure equalization in the aircraft.
The 43-year-old was separated from her family and children for a long time.
Among other things, this sparked speculation about a marriage crisis with her husband, Prince Albert of Monaco.

In the meantime, Charlène von Monaco has returned home safely and has shown herself to be very close to her family, including on Instagram.
But now the palace has published a new statement that is again causing concern among fans.
It states that Princess Charlène will not be able to take part in the national holiday celebrations on November 19th.

As the palace also announced, the 43-year-old needs "rest and relaxation" for the time being so that her health can stabilize.
"Your whereabouts are strictly confidential," they say.
"The princess is recovering from health problems with which she had to struggle in the past few months." She will continue to rest in the coming weeks in order to overcome her "deep fatigue", so the statements in the statement.
