In contrast to the initial publication in Bogota, these are Iranian activists and not Hezbollah members. • Familiar sources on the subject:

The storm of the attempted assassination of the Israeli in Colombia continues:

Information obtained by "Israel Today" shows that behind the security incident on Bogota's soil is a Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guards, namely Iran - and not Hezbollah as first published.

Experts in the subject insist that there is a recurring pattern of action, centered on cooperation between local criminal organizations and international terrorist elements.

At the head of them is the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guards - an terror arm of the regime in Iran.

This joins a long line of recent assassination attempts on African soil, targeting Israeli businessmen in Senegal, Ghana and Tanzania.

This is in response to the assassination of Iranian scientist Muhsin Fahrizadeh in November last year.

The sources also point out that this is a violation of state sovereignty, and make it clear that it is Iran that is sending squads of murderers to murder Israelis on foreign land.

Colombian Defense Minister Diego Mulano revealed during an interview with El Tempo that "about two months ago we had to deal with a situation where we had to capture and deport two Hezbollah criminals who planned to commit a crime inside Colombia."

According to the report, the plot included a squad that closely followed several foreign individuals, not only Israelis but also Americans, in their routine in the South American country - including visits to the gym and meetings with relatives, the initial report said.

Colombia is blaming the regime of Nicholas Maduro in neighboring Venezuela, which they claim is giving political asylum to terrorist elements to operate its territory.

This is what was revealed in "Israel Today" already last month.

"Demand removal of sanctions"

Meanwhile, there are also developments in the political sphere, after Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Iranian counterpart Ibrahim Raisi spoke on the phone.

The focus of the talks was the resumption of nuclear negotiations in Vienna on 29 November.

In Tehran, they insist on "lifting the sanctions," and in Moscow they expect "the will of the parties to get out of the current situation," according to a conversation between the two.

A statement from the Kremlin said that "Russia and Iran are fully committed to the agreements reached at the outset," referring to the original 2015 agreement.

In this context, Raisi added that "Iran is very serious ahead of the talks in Vienna on the removal of all sanctions against the Iranian nation."

According to the two countries' announcement, the cooperation with the corona plague and the treatment of Russia and Iran in the situation in Syria "led to the preservation of the country and the elimination of a large international terrorist incubator."
