Broke into the lion enclosure at the zoo and threw dollars at a lion: "My king, I love you"

A woman wearing a red dress, a mottled scarf and a blonde wig entered the lions' compound at the Bronx Zoo with bouquets in her hand and began dancing in front of one of the lions, declaring her love for him and throwing dollars in the air.

Luckily the lion showed indifference.

The zoo believes it has already committed a similar act in 2019

Drunk man jumps into a lion cage to "shake hands" (TWITTER)

In the video - a drunk jumped into a lion cage to "shake hands with them"

What the hell was she thinking to herself?

A strange woman wearing a red dress, a mottled scarf and a blonde wig leapt over the fence of the Lions compound at the Bronx Zoo and got as close as possible to one of the lions in an attempt to show him her love.

In a video documenting the incident, the woman is seen approaching the edge of a wide canal that separates her from the lion with flowers in her hand, dancing towards him and throwing dollar bills in the air.

The zoo is believed to have performed a similar dangerous stunt in 2019.

At an event filmed at the New York Zoo last Thursday around 4 p.m., the woman is seen teasing a lion, throwing one-dollar bills at him and calling out, "My king, I love you, I're back for you."

In a video obtained by NBC New York, the mysterious woman is seen telling the camera "I miss him so much," while the lion appears completely indifferent to her actions and lies down on the ground.

The visitors alerted the zoo staff about the danger but by the time they arrived at the scene, the woman was gone.

The scene reminded the zoo staff of an incident that occurred in 2019 when a woman named Mia Ottery broke into the lions compound to mock the lions while dancing.

At that time, she broke into the giraffe compound and caused a panic there as well.

Now they think it's the same woman.

The zoo said in a statement that the woman involved in the latest incident was in an area separate from the lion and therefore was not in any danger. "The woman did not enter his compound area and has never been in the same cavity of the lions, separated from visitors to the zoo by a wide canal," the zoo said in a statement. The incident lasted only a few minutes and the woman disappeared when the crew arrived. We have a New York Police Department station in the park and we work closely with them to resolve this situation with the woman. The Bronx Zoo has a zero tolerance policy "In such matters and he will demand the prosecution of the person involved in the affair and that everyone who has improved the safety rules in the park." The New York Zoo and New York Police Department are currently investigating.

Ottery, 34, was charged with two counts of criminal trespassing for trespassing on September 28, 2019. She said at the time: "I'm not afraid of anyone. No animal, no humans, no one. So no, I was not afraid of the lion because the lion "Love me. That's why he came to me and I informed him: 'Lion, I love you.'"

The zoo does not appear to have changed its fence since the 2019 incident, so entering the compound is very simple.

Is this the same woman?

This is what it looked like in 2019

Ottery was arrested and prosecuted in November 2019 but did not appear in court in December.

During her last appearance in court, Utry interrupted the judge several times and shouted, "All thanks to God."

When asked to sign documents, she reportedly declared: "I am an educated black woman. I do not sign anything. All praise to you, Allah!".

Ottery was arrested almost a year later, in October 2020, after police located her on Coney Island.

She threatened to jump off the pier as police officers surrounded her.

She was transferred to Coney Island Hospital on October 22, 2020 for a psychiatric evaluation, the Bronx Times reported.
