They are accused of having promised and then facilitated, in exchange for bribes, some participants in competitions for recruitment in the Corps of the Armed Forces (Carabinieri, Army and Air Force) and in the Penitentiary Police to pass the psycho-aptitude tests.
The Penitentiary Police carried out 14 precautionary measures against as many suspects accused by the Naples Public Prosecutor of corruption.
The investigations have made it possible to shed light on a series of episodes that saw as protagonists, between the end of 2020 and the first half of 2021, two agents of the Penitentiary, Errico Spena and Maurizio Russo, already in prison.
