Tonight (Monday), the Israel Police released a video from security cameras documenting the stabbing attack against a Border Police soldier on Hagai Street in the Old City of the capital.
The video shows the terrorist, a 16-year-old Pashtalini, attacking the fighter with a knife.
In response, the fighters fired at the neutralized terrorist, who was later pronounced dead.
As a result of the stabbing, the two fighters were injured and evacuated for medical treatment at the hospitals.
Their condition is now defined as mild to moderate.
Jerusalem District Commander Superintendent Doron Turgeman arrived at the scene and held a situation assessment at the scene of the stabbing attack.
The investigation into the attack was directed at the central unit in the Jerusalem district.
At the end of the assessment of the situation, the district commander said: "In the stabbing attack, the Jerusalem Border Police demonstrators showed determination and striving for contact with a bloodthirsty terrorist who tried to take their lives in an instant.
Another citizen who was in the area and assisted in the joint effort to neutralize the terrorist is also commendable.
This attack is another reminder of the variety of threats that the Jerusalem District Police and Border Police fighters bravely face in the Old City and in general.

Meanwhile, during searches conducted in the area after the attack, Jerusalem District Police and Border Police arrested a number of suspects for questioning on suspicion that they were connected to the terrorist, and their connection to the stabbing attack was currently being investigated by the police.
