Guillotière district in Lyon: eight undocumented migrants arrested during a new police operation

Representatives of several brands directly affected by insecurity in the Guillotière district were also received at the Rhône prefecture.

In a tweet published shortly after the intervention, the Rhône prefecture touted a successful operation. Thus, eight foreigners in an irregular situation were taken care of by the border police, two individuals were taken into custody for receiving and street selling cigarettes and opiate drugs, five customs procedures were initiated and 14 cubic meters of material were evacuated from the wild market.

"It is a question of fighting daily against all that plagues the life of our fellow citizens and contributes to their insecurity"

And to specify that the representatives of the McDonald's and Casino signs had been received at the prefecture.

For several months, these two businesses in La Guillotière have been forced to close earlier for security reasons.
